Description
We are looking for a software engineer in embedded systems (3-5 years of experience) for an assignment where you will be part of an experienced team that develops embedded software for battery systems. The team works through the entire development chain, from requirements and design to implementation, testing and documentation.
The software is mainly written in C, and the work takes place in a modern development environment with agile working methods. The batteries are used in a wide range of products and the focus is on developing intelligent energy solutions for the products of the future.
You will work closely with knowledgeable and committed colleagues, stakeholders, global suppliers and partners. The role means that you gain insight into and influence on the entire product development chain, from idea to end customer. The assignment is characterized by cross-functional collaboration across both departments and geographical boundaries.
Daily duties:
- Development of embedded software for battery systems
- Development of unit tests and manual tests of software and batteries
- Troubleshooting and fault analysis of battery systems
- Maintenance and further development of the software's development and build environment
- Support in the development and updating of requirement specifications
Basic qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent, with a focus on software
- Experience of programming in C/C++
- Experience working in development environments with Git
- Good oral and written proficiency in English
Meritorious skills, characteristics and experience
- Experience with Python, Azure DevOps, and/or Jenkins
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD and management of development tools is a merit
- An interest in or experience of AI-generated code and the use of AI in software development is a merit
- Ability to work in a structured and independent manner, while at the same time enjoying being in a team
- Good interpersonal skills and experience working in cross-functional and international environments
- Swedish in speech and writing is an advantage
